New Testament Support:

There is support in the New Testament for a Tribulation Period. The "wrath" that is coming is the tribulation. Many believe there will be a Rapture or removal of followers of Jesus Christ before things get too bad. These New Testament verses include but are not limited to:

• The Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24:4-28). (Parallel passages include Mark 13; Luke 17:22-37 and Luke 21:5-36).
• 1 Thessalonians 1:10 ...and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead-- Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.
• 1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
• Book of Revelations Chapters 6 through 19.
